Police are probing the murder of an unidentified man in South Oropouche last night.
According to a report, residents of Agriculture Road heard several loud explosions around 10.50 pm and on checking, found the man's gunshot-riddled body bleeding heavily on the road.
A team of South Oropouche police responded and surveyed the area but none of the residents said they saw anything. No motive has also been established.
The District Medical Officer examining the body found gunshot wounds to the head, neck and groin area.
The victim appeared to be an Indo-Trinidadian man in his mid twenties. He wore a white t-shirt and a pair of camouflaged three-quarter length pants.
Anyone with information is ask to contact the police as soon as possible.
