Attorney Larry Lalla has thrown his hat in the ring with the United National Congress (UNC) but did not reveal which seat he would contest.
Lalla collected his UNC nomination form at the party's headquarters, Rienzi Complex, Couva this morning, on the second day of the application window.
He told reporters after he collected his form that he prefers to keep the constituency he is hoping to contest a secret.
"I prefer to keep the seat confidential for now. All I want to say is that I'm ready and willing to serve my country under the leadership of the honourable Kamla Persad-Bissessar," he said.
Lalla said he decided to collect a form after being approached by members of the constituency he is hoping to represent.
