“The Judiciary, having conducted preliminary investigations into the communication made to the claimant and his attorney in the matter CV 2014 - 03335 and the failure to submit said communication to attorneys for the defence, has found no evidence that proves a conspiracy to pervert justice.
“The investigation does show that there was a failure on the part of one officer to perform duties in accordance with the practice and procedures of the court.
“The officer involved has since been re-assigned to other duties. Further internal investigation will take place to determine if any other action should be taken in respect of that officer.
“The Judiciary will provide any necessary retraining to confirm that all officers are fully aware of their duties and responsibilities and the need to discharge same with precision, alacrity and fairness.
“The examination of our internal quality control procedures is ongoing with a view to limiting future occurrences of this nature.”
