An autopsy is to be done on a 55-year-old Carapichaima man who was shot by a relative, a police sergeant, on January 27.
According to reports, around 9.45 am the police officer shot Krishna Rajmukar, 55, after Rajkumar approached him with a cutlass, using threatening language.
The physical attack came after a verbal threat by Rajkumar, the officer said.
The officer said he shot the man with his service pistol.
